The recoil buffers in the rear of the upper receiver are all that stand between your hard metal bolt BEATING directly against the rear of your registered receiver. Our buffers are made identically to the factory original buffers and disassembly of the bolt is required to properly install them per factory design. However, you can also simply clip the corner out of the buffer and instantly install it with no disassembly of the bolt required. The best of both designs!
