If you want to get the full fun value out of your Walther P22 handgun by being able to mount any 1/2x20 TPI threaded suppressors or accessories (which are commonly encountered with European and South American suppressors as well as for some older American suppressors) then this is the part that you need. If you do not have a specific application that requires this 1/2x20 male thread, you probably want to get our more common 1/2 x 28 Thread Adapter instead.
