If you want to get the full fun value out of your Walther P22 handgun by being able to mount any 1/2x28 TPI threaded accessories such as a SUPPRESSOR, a FLASH HIDER from an AR15 or one of our UNRESTRICTED FAKE SUPPRESSORS, then this is the part that you need. This thread adapter easily replaces the factory barrel nut using Walther's factory supplied barrel wrench and works equally well on 3.4" and 5" guns. (However, it will not work on CA non-threaded guns.)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

This WALTHER P22 THREAD ADAPTER can easily be installed on either the 3.4" gun or the 5" targer barrel. 

FOR 3.4" GUNS:

1. Ensure that your pistol is NOT LOADED and that the magazine is removed.

2. Pull the slide back enough to expose the factory barrel nut.  Using the factory supplied barrel nut wrench, unscrew and remove the barrel nut. 

3. Use your finger in the ejection port to keep the barrel seated correctly and fully forward. 

4. Replace the factory barrel nut with the P22 THREAD ADAPTER.  Hand tighten and then snug using the factory barrel nut wrench.  DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. 

All 1/2-28 threaded accessories can now be used on your P22 pistol.

FOR 5" GUNS:

1. Ensure that your pistol is NOT LOADED and that the magazine is removed.

2. Using the Walther supplied allen wrench, remove the fake compensator.  

3. Pull the slide back enough to expose the factory barrel nut.  Using the factory supplied barrel nut wrench, unscrew and remove the barrel nut. 

4. Use your finger in the ejection port to keep the barrel seated correctly and fully forward. 

5. Replace the fake compensator without installing the barrel nut.

6. Continue to use your finger in the ejection port to keep the barrel seated correctly and fully forward.  Screw the P22 THREAD ADAPTER on in place of the factory barrel nut.  Hand tighten.

7. Screw the fake suppressor or flash hider or any other 1/2-28 accessory onto the P22 THREAD ADAPTER and snug the adapter.  DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. 

All 1/2-28 threaded accessories can now be used on your P22 pistol.
