1. RECEIVER PRECISION MACHINED FROM AIRCRAFT GRADE BILLET ALUMINUM
	The TACTICAL22 Replacement 10/22 Receiver starts as a 1 1/2 pound solid billet of aircraft aluminim. Extensive CNC machining converts the solid block into a 6.4 ounce (less Picatinny rail and screws) precision receiver that does not have the rougher surface finish and casting imperfections that a cast receiver would frequently include. All dimentions of the receiver are held to close tolerances for reliable consistency. We offer a variety of Ruger 10/22 Accessories to compliment your custom built rifle, such as Replacement Barrels, TI25 Machined Aluminum Mags, TI25 Advanced Composite Mags as well as Stocks and Flash Hiders.

2. CLEAN FROM THE CHAMBER TO THE MUZZLE

Target shooters have always known that the correct way to clean a rifle is from the chamber and out the muzzle rather than pushing all the dirt from the barrel into the receiver and potentially damaging the barrel crown with the cleaning rod. Our receivers have a 1/4" hole in the rear of the receiver that allows you to put a cleaning rod in the rear of the receiver, then attach the brush and swab the barrel from the chamber to the muzzle without having to remove the barrel (and loose your zero each time). The cleaning access hole is cosmetically covered with a snap in and out plug that blends with the rear of the receiver when installed and that is completely hidden when the receiver is in the stock.

3. PICATINNY PRECISON MACHINED RAIL

Rather than put a lesser quality cast rail on a precision machined receiver, our Picatinny rail is also machined from solid billet aluminim. Just to make sure that you can put any accessory you want on your custom rifle, we provide a Picatinny mount as standard rather than the less versatile weaver style rail. The rail is mil-spec to fit popular scopes and accessory optics such as Eotech sights. It is also hard black anodized to match the receiver.

4. FOUR MASSIVE #10 CAP SCREW RAIL ATTACHMENT

We HATE small cheap slotted screws for securing a rail to a receiver. Our machined Picatinny rail is secured to the receiver with FOUR #10 cap screws to ensure a solid, reliable mounting platform that is easy to install and remove without having to worry about stripping small screws or damaging tiny threads in the receiver. Compare our rail and mounting screws (in the picture to the right) to the factory scope mount and screws. The rail, the screws and the receiver are engineered to work precisely work together. Once you try this mounting system, you'll appreciate the advantage of having real hardware to mount your rail to the receiver.

5. HARD ANODIZED AND PROFESSIONALLY LASER ENGRAVED

The receiver is matte finished for durability and appearance and is professionally hard black anodized. Anodizing is not a paint or a spray on finish, its a molecular change in the surface of the aluminum that forms crystals (like diamonds) on the outside of the material. Its the same finish that space and defence contractors and the military require on their parts. To compliment the matte black anodized finish, each suppressor is professionally laser engraved in compliance with BATFE marking requirements, indicating its serial number, model and manufacturer information. Laser engraving costs a few dollars more than traditional rotary engraving, but anything less looks like it. The TACTICAL22 Receiver delivers in appearance and performance at a value cost.

6. YOUR CHOICE OF PICATINNY RAIL OR "FLAT TOP"
	Yes, some of us still like to shoot iron sights. For those shooters that prefer a "Flat Top" receiver with no provision to mount a scope, meaning there are no holes at all to detract from the sleek lines of the receiver, we also offer our Precision Machined Replacement 10/22 Flat Top Receiver.

7. YOUR CHOICE OF ALUMINUM GRADE - 6061 OR 7075

Aluminum, like everything else, comes in different grades. 6061 T6 aluminum is the most common and is ofter referred to as "aircraft" aluminum. Applications where strength is a factor require 7075 aluminun (which is slightly harder). Based on our testing, its our conclusion that the 10/22 receiver does not have the stress that would require the more expensive 7075 aluminum. However, for shooters that prefer the additional strength, we offer the receiver in either 6061 at our standard cost or machined from 7075 for an additonal cost reflecting higher material costs, longer run times and additional tooling wear.
